Sur un terrain d'environ 1650m², le potager et le petit jardin de plantes aromatiques et de fleurs à couper permettaient, à l'origine, à la maîtresse de maison, qui les entretenaient, d'enrichir l'ordinaire de la vie familiale.
C'est sur cet emplacement et dans le souci de revivre la tradition et le savoir-faire horticole qui a fait d'Antibes "la capitale de la Rose" pendant des années, que la Ville a souhaité transformer ce jardin en roseraie.
Les 1760 plants nécessaires ont été gracieusement offerts à la Ville par deux fameux rosiéristes antibois, Meilland et Fazari. Des variétés prestigieuses ont été plantées : Catherine Deneuve, Philippe Noiret, Marcel Pagnol, Christophe Colomb, Princesse de Monaco (Ets Meilland) et Brazzero, Eve, Ivoirine, Majestic, Pramila (Ets Fazari).

Discover the rose garden
On a plot of approximately 1650m², the vegetable patch and the small garden of aromatic plants and cut flowers originally allowed the hostess, who maintained them, to enrich the ordinary of family life.
It is on this location and in order to relive the tradition and horticultural know-how that has made Antibes "the capital of the Rose" for years, that the City wanted to transform this garden into a rose garden.
The 1760 plants needed were kindly donated to the City by two famous rose growers from Antibes, Meilland and Fazari. Prestigious varieties have been planted: Catherine Deneuve, Philippe Noiret, Marcel Pagnol, Christophe Colomb, Princesse de Monaco (Ets Meilland) and Brazzero, Eve, Ivoirine, Majestic, Pramila (Ets Fazari).
