23-10-1983 Cravant-Bazarnes - Deux Picasso pour Avallon
Two X-3800 railcars nicknamed « Picasso » are leaving Cravant-Bazarnes, going to Avallon. They came from Laroche-Migennes where they took connecting passengers coming from Paris.
This is not a double track but two single tracks. The track on the left goes to Clamecy.
The two railcars are manned, each has a driver (engineer). This is called a “jumelage” (a pairing). Up to 3 such railcars were allowed to work together. This was the case for this train between Laroche-Migennes and Cravant-Bazarnes, where the leading Picasso was uncoupled and departed for Clamecy.
