The brief for week 12 of the challenge was as follows; Artistic – Orange: Your inspiration this week is orange. Either the color orange or an actual orange. Or both.
I grabbed my long lens (Tamron 150-600mm) again for this weeks challenge and literally walked out the front door and stood in the middle of the street to capture this one.
It was one of those early Autumn warm days and not a cloud in the sky. As the sun set the whole sky turned various shades of orange and left a warm glow on everything.
With the long lens I was able to shoot up to the top of this tree to get the silhouette I wanted in the frame to create the contrast and hide the brightness of the sun directly behind it to get the warmer orange tones I was after.
