The final visit of another long day was the light airfield at Herzilya.
Once we parked the vans at the Northern side of the airfield, it was a walk along the entire length of the field. The weather was cooler and therefore it was quite a pleasant walk.

Whilst most aircraft were easily read off as the heat haze had dissipated, a few defied identification due to angles and other aircraft blocking them.
We had a bit of a chat with an airport security man who was happily holding some sort of heavy duty machine gun. However once he had chatted to us and seen some of the groups notes, he left us to continue. Having said that, he did ask that we took no more photographs. So a lot more photographs would have been taken if it were not for our security man.......I’m sure he was watching us till the end of our visit.
