Next morning it was up and away at 0700hrs, getting breakfast along the way towards our first destination, Newcastle~Co Wicklow.
Arrangements had been made to visit this field, however the owner had said that he may not be available as he was attending a wedding the previous day!
The airfield is gated and locked, so we took the scenic route and walked along the pebble beach next to the railway line and had a full view of the field and noted some of the residents which were outside.... and not an Irish aircraft to be seen!
