DSCN6540 the BVM

Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary (built between 1624-1639). The high altar main painting is accompanied with the gold-colored figures of St. Peter and St. Paul. Since the Renaissance the Sierakow Pantheon serves as a tomb. The parish church is surrounded with a row of limes (including the centuries-old linden tree in the background), the former church meadow and pond, and a public park in the place of a destroyed historic Bernardine farm and former ‘cementery for poor men outside the city’ with the existing hospice Holy Spirit Church (finally transported by Count Bninski to Wartoslaw).
