Unfortunately, decent trains are not seen on the North Wales route in any great number these days and a diet of plastic units has to suffice.
The box opened in 1902 and closed in March 2018 when the North Wales route between Rockcliffe Hall & Colwyn Bay transferred its signalling responsibilty to Cardiff ROC.
