Kellet's whelk

These guys are showing off their highly extensible proboscis, which they are using to get some food down at the bottom of the habitat. They are found from Point Conception (CA) South into Baja California. Thier shells are shaped interestingly with knobs and ridges on the whirling body, however they tend to have lackluster coloring in my opinion.
