fly test
Boy, what a difference one simple alteration to the working routine makes. For all the talk of fancy lenses, sophisticated hoods and expensive microvement stages, it has turned out to be an incredibly simple insect examination stage that's made all the difference. Because, with this, instead of the insect being on a vertical needle, it's now on an almost horizontal one which means I can use a wraparound diffuser. Yay!
This isn't a remotely good stack as it only has 7 reversed componon28 photos combined. It's more 'proof of concept' of this direction of mounting.
