Frozen Reflections

With the December timetable changes came a change in timings for the southbound steel, in that it is now booked to lay over in Craven Arms loop for 16 minutes to allow a passenger service to pass. I wasn't intending to double back from Little Stretton to get a second capture (see previous upload of this service passing Little Stretton), but last minute decided the conditions were too good to give up the opportunity.

I was lucky to get to Stokesay in time, as the steel was only held for a few minutes and was allowed on its way as the passenger was running very late and 6V75 was allowed to go in front of it. I arrived at the pond with just a few minutes to spare.

So glad I did manage it, fog is my new favourite weather condition to photograph in. The glow from the red shed up front in the frozen pond was another unexpected bonus. Even the sheep behaved themselves...
