Cast metal grave marker
Grandview Cemetery, Montrose, Colorado. I have found a number of similar cast metal gave markers in cemeteries in Montrose and Ouray Counties, all dating from the late 1800s and early 1900s. The advantage is that dates, names and decorative embellishments do not wear down, leaving the markers legible indefinitely.
