Prairie dogs #4
After scurrying to their burrow these white-tailed prairie dogs pop back out to satisfy curiosity and pose for the camera. These animals do hibernate to a degree put were out due to rising temperatures abd bright sunshine. Their burrow was within a few feet of highway US50 on the east edge of Montrose, Colorado.
