Halfway back to autumn

It is late May as I post this photo of fall foilage in the Uncompahgre Valley on the western slope of Colorado. It dawned on me that time for a repeat of this season is now closer than the months since I took this shot. Taken along the Uncompahgre River west of Montrose, Colorado.
