Gift from the mountains

Irrigation water from the Gunnison River at the bottom of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison via the Gunnison Tunnel and water from the San Juans brought by the Uncompahgre River have transformed the Uncompahgre Valley from sterile salt flats to a very productive agricultural region.
