Llama above Machu Picchu. Peru

With thunderstorms rolling in a llama stop on the terraces above the ruins of Machu Picchu. The Inca had a tremendous site to build a city and they certainly didn't waste it. I was taken with the surround mountains that you rarely see in most photographs, so I also spent a good deal of time shooting panoramas. Llamas were one of the few animals domesticated in South America.
