At the blacksmith's
Walking through the back streets on Halloween day, Kristen and I came across a blacksmith working in a small, dirt-floored shop, complete with a forge, anvils hammers, all sorts of vices and tools. As we approached a customer was leaving. We spoke with him for a few minutes and he showed us some of the custom die punches that he made to cut shapes from leather, paper and metal.
