Boyles Brothers BBS-2 Junior Surface Diamond Drill, Toburn Gold Mine Interpretive Park, Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Canada. This was similar to the one I worked on at the Mega Ontario Hydro Dam Project (Little Long Rapids) north of Kapuskasing on the Metagami River. I worked for Boyles Bros Diamond Drillers as a helper on the drill ( 2 man crews) at 18 years old for 2 1/2 months in the summer earning $2/hr. We drilled 200 ft test holes at the site of the third dam at Kipling Dam Site. Only worked 5 days a week and had some of the best fishing I ever had on our 2 day week ends. Lived in a hydro camp with 1500 other workers and had some of the best food I've eaton.
