This is a restored DC 3 that was later parked in a field on Hwy 130 near the junction of Hwy 61. It still has the RCAF Transport Command lightning bolt on its Fuselage. The 2 owners flew it from that field for a while. 1980's Film Era Black & White Print.

This aircraft actually flew in the Normandy invasion 1944. It was purchase by My neighbour with the intention of starting up an air service to Las Vegas in an antique airliner. It was a good idea it just didn’t come to fruition.
