Eagles , Bears and other Birds and Animals gorge on the Pacific Salmon (Pinks) Chinooks & Coho Salmon that spawn in the Nipigon River .They die after performing their Natural Life Cycle and are food for all kinds of Critters during the Fall Spawning Run each year not to mention the live Pinks that are grabbed fresh out of the River..
