My Grandson Grant ~ Taken from an earlier colour photo cropped Grey toned and then accent coloured blue only to bring out the "Through a Childs Eyes". Changes completely the original photo to eliminate any distraction of colour and zeros in on the softness and purity of a child . Black and White Photography is still the most important medium for Portraiture. The use of limited colouring in black and white is very effective to bring out a highlite. In this case to make the childs eyes appear translucent and give them depth .
Entered in the Annual Flickr Best Shot Contest in People/Portrait category one of several categories . Only one entry per photographer in one category. Last Year 2021 there were 15,000 registered in the group submitted 13,000 photos. Better odds than Loto Max ?
