Trowbridge Island is approxamitely 25 miles from the city of Thunder Bay. The dull blue outline on the horizon beyond the Trowbridge Light and Thunder Cape is the silhouette of Isle Royal which stretches all the way over across the entrance to Thunder Bay to behind Pie Island to the south. It is approximately 32 miles from the city of Thunder Bay by water to Isle Royal ,Michigan, U S A
