Built in 1973, by the Marinette Marine Corporation of Marinette, Wisconsin (hull #YTB 822) as the YTB-822 (Pawhuska) for the United States Navy.
A Natick class large harbor tug. She was the first in the United States Navy to bare the name. Named after a town in Osage County, Oklahoma which is the capital of the Osage Nation.
Her keel was laid on January 9th, 1973. The tug was launched on June 7th, 1973, and delivered to the United States Navy on September 10th, 1973. She was stricken from the Naval Register on October 28th, 2002.
In 2005, she was acquired by the Coos Bay Towboat Company of Coos Bay, Oregon. Where the tug was renamed as the Teclutsa.
In 2016, the tug was acquired by Lakehead Tug Boats Incorporated of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Where she retained her name, and was transferred to Canadian flag.
She was a single-screw tug, rated at 2,000 horsepower.
