Hidden Gem

On my way home from West Virginia, I stopped at Hocking Hills in southeast Ohio to check out some of the waterfalls over there. I was down this way just a few weeks earlier and to my dismay found most of the waterfalls were reduced to mere trickles, except Cedar Falls which actually looks much nicer without much water. Just the opposite was true on this visit....all waterfalls were at springtime levels. Cedar Falls was just a washed out mess of raging water that I didn't even bother taking the time to shoot. There were around 20 or 30 people standing in awe in front of it anyway, so just as well. But just a few yards away, I had the beautiful Hidden Falls all to myself.
