Jumping Spider - 9 Photos

Another new one for me. Looks like a female Pelegrina galathea. Approximately 4-5 mm in length. Found 2 new jumpers Friday and another 2 on Saturday, one of which was a Phidippus johnsoni. I Had no idea there was such a diversity to be found here. I've worked outside for 30 years now and only recall seeing 3 or 4 different kinds of jumping spiders. Amazing how many you can find when you start looking for them. What used to be just a dark speck on a leaf is now an adventure to be explored! Cool!!
