Ladies Bathroom Stall Door - CBGBs Walls (2013)
The ladies bathroom was where a lot of the best illicit hijinks went down at CBGBs. The men's room had no stalls or doors and was directly at the bottom of the stairs so everyone coming down could see right in there so no privacy... even the "Backstage Dressing Rooms/Band Rooms", which everyone passed straight by on the way to the stairs down to the bathrooms, were wide open, sans doors.
The ladies room however had three stalls WITH DOORS that were perfect for obscuring two of the three best things about the punk scene back then: Sex & Drugs! (the Rock 'n' Roll part happened upstairs...)
