Tic Toc
The inner workings of a pendulum clock. The rod coming up from the bottom is attached to the pendulum and the other end is attached to the anchor. At either end of the anchor are the pallets. The motion of the pendulum causes the anchor to rock back and forth. The pallets alternately catch and hold the pointed teeth of the escape wheel. This give the clock its tic toc sound. This was my grandfather’s grandfather clock.
