Morning Solitudes I
I drove out to visit family and decided I would get a little bit of camping in as most campgrounds were closing for the season shortly after my trip.
The day I that I drove to Lake Superior park was cloudy almost all the way with some rain mixed in here and there.
Seeing as the weather was not the greatest, I debated staying in a motel, was about to turn in, and then at the last minute decided to press on to the campground.
Arrived at the campground about 6:30 pm, walked and fed the dog, and as I was starting to set up the tent, it started to rain again and well into the evening. It would seem my decision to camp was not the best one of the day.
But I woke early the next morning at sunrise, and the skies were clear. Fortunately I picked a spot on the lake and there was a light fog and beautifully calm.
I felt much differently about my decision :)
