Long exposure at the iconic location on Derwent water.
Managing to arrive in the lake district during one of the worst weather fronts for a while and took advantage of the poor weather to try out some long exposure photography using my trusted Firecrest 16Stop ND filter. This one just over 4 minutes unfortunately only 1 out of 3 worked as the weather was quite wild and moved the tripod for one of the images and under exposed on the other due to rapid weather changes during exposure although may still be able to recover that one and ended at that point.
Main focus here was the flood gate and fence with the autumn colours on the trees and the sky movement here making the image nice and dramatic.
