Desert Plain Impressions

Desert Plain with greenery, north of Los Angeles near Lancaster. Given impressionistic treatment to bring out the starkness of the dead tumbleweed. Started with HDR version earlier posted to photostream, then used Layers to apply Oil Painting filter in Photoshop. Check out the larger version. Do you like this effect?
