backlit bugs

Bugs! While hiking in Wheatley Provincial park I was suddenly surrounded by hundreds of humming insects. A quick look around and i noticed midges all over sunlit leaves at the edge of the trail. The entire tree was covered with them. Luckily they were more interested in the sunny leaves than following me down the trail! I know you want to zoom in to see all the details!
