Abandoned Car Grain Elevators A (Explored)

Abandoned car and grain elevators in Brockway, Montana, population 14, in McCone County, in Northeastern Montana. Brockway was first settled by the Brockway brothers in 1910. The town prospered when a Northern Pacific Railroad branch was built through the town in 1926, becoming the number one livestock shipping point in the entire United States in 1934.

Brockway still holds the Dairy Days Rodeo and while wandering through town, I got the impression that it still had a strong sense of community and is a nice place to live.

Shot this photo with my cell phone, something I never usually do, but as part of my twelve day North Dakota road trip, I shot about a dozen scenes with my D850 DSLR, RX100 (original version) pocket camera and my Galaxy S24+ to compare the experience and the results.
