Refinery River Sunset 6774 C (Explored)
Calumet Refinery and sunset on the Missouri River in Great Falls, Montana.
Earlier in the day, I had been disappointed that the smoke prevented a landscape sunset shot, but driving around town, saw this scene near my hotel.
My sun tracker app was spot on showing the sun would set between the two towers.
Was an enjoyable evening scouting 90 minutes for the shot and sitting 60 minutes waiting for sunset.
There were crazy big swarms of mosquitos around me and the camera, which I had to shoo-away from the lens for a second or two to get a clear shot. (Still ended-up with quite a few mosquito trails that I had to clean up in edit - and LOTS of mosquito bites. I had recently thrown-out the insect repellent in my camera bag because it was expired.)
