Pet Chicken 3463 A
My wife has had backyard chickens for the last couple of years. Blue, pictured here, is her favorite, and she’s also the most prolific layer of the four hens we have. I believe she’s a Plymouth Rock.
I was not too keen when she told me she wanted chickens, but I’m really surprised how entertaining and friendly they are. The eggs are so much better tasting than store bought, too, IMO.
In Spring, our backyard is covered with Creeping Buttercup, which I love and worked well with the shoot.
