No. 27 of I00

In my classes and workshops I always use the old Minor White advice of "Always look behind you." I was attending the Civil War battle reenactment of the Siege of Bridgeport (AL) a couple of weeks ago. The battle was raging and the cannon were firing and everyone's attention was facing the battlefield. I turned to look behind me and this was what caught my eye. I asked her if I could photograph her and she agreed. I explained the 100 Strangers Project.

For some reason I had not put my notepad in my vest and the only thing I had to write on was the back of one of my business cards. Somewhere along the line I must have given that card to someone else because I cannot find it. I don't remember her name but she did say she was a local resident. Sorry I don't have more details about her but she was truly a lovely young lady.

This picture is #27 in my 100 strangers project. Find out more about the project and see pictures taken by other photographers at the 100 Strangers Flickr Group page
