Final night for "Late Show with David Letterman".

After a 22-year run at the Ed Sullivan Theater the ‪#‎Lateshow‬ ends tonight. The ‪#‎theater‬ was built by Arthur Hammerstein and opened its doors on November 30, 1927. After the depression devastated Broadway, CBS converted the theater into a ‪#‎television‬ studio in 1935. It broadcast The ‪#‎Beatles‬ first U.S. performance on "The Ed Sullivan Show" on February 9, 1964. On December 10, 1967 the studio was renamed The Ed Sullivan Theater in honor of the 20th anniversary of the ‪#‎show‬. Photo and full text about the theater appear in our book "New York Nights". ‪#‎davidletterman‬ ‪#‎signgeeks‬ ‪#‎neongeeks‬ ‪#‎marquee‬ ‪#‎typography‬ ‪#‎font‬ ‪#‎fontastic‬
