This picture is #016 in my 100 strangers project. Find out more about the project and see pictures taken by other photographers at the 100 Strangers Flickr Group page
I can't believe it has been over a year since I photographed for my strangers project. This artist was working on a wall mural on Heartland Road, Camden, London. www.dankitchener.com/single-post/2018/07/22/Camden-London The artists name is Dan Kitchener and he goes under the name DANK. Dan took a short coffee break so I took the opportunity to say hello and discuss his art. One thing we definitely agreed on was the great light and reflections you can see during wet nights and how this can really make an image. It seemed like a great opportunity to take an environmental portrait.
I took two portraits. The first I screwed up because I didn't check my camera settings and I had the dial set for double exposure... Twit!!!
A quick adjustment and I got this shot. Something I need to remember to do is to take a selection of images but as usual I didn't want to take up too much time. Fortunately I got what I'd intended to achieve.
Please check out Dank's page for more details on the artist and his work.
Dan agreed to be part of my 100 strangers project and I would like to say thank you for the interesting conversation and taking part in this project.
