We breed them and grow them to 2 different sizes, 200 kg, and about 340 kg, then sell them. We don't fatten as the local grass in the extreme rainfall isn't high in protein. He is off to the market today, a bit cranky but ok. Its a bit like a conveyor belt, we have to move them as we have many many more ready to wean now, so we have to make space. We will be up around 550 calves per year soon, and the mix is getting closer to 100% Droughtmaster slowly
