Morning March
Each morning here in Amboseli National Park in Kenya the elephant families make their way from the protection of the forest to the grassy plains near the swamps at the foot of Mt Kilimanjaro to eat the 400-500 lbs that they must consume each day. They reverse the journey at night. The adults have bunched up around the babies to protect them when they cross the road clogged with many safari vehicles.
