Stranger thing.

Hurricane Irma brought us a navigational mystery marker with an intriguing "11" stenciled on it which made me think of the character from the Netflix "Stranger Things" series. This is the beach at Patrick Air Force Base about halfway between the Hangars and 2nd Light parking lots.
Update 4/29/2018: After thinking about the track of Hurricane Irma and finding a couple of tantalizing Internet clues, I'm now relatively convinced that, prior to the September 2017 storm, this buoy marked the channel leading to Marina Hemingway near Havana, Cuba.
