awesome homemade potato chips --super fast & easy

taste better than store-bought, & no artificial flavor, colors, preservatives, etc...

Since I rarely used the microwave, I decided to research what you could do with one, & came across an ad for a "Microwave Potato Chip Maker"

Already had an ancient mandoline slicer and a microwave plate with holes in it, (which is what the "maker " actually was) I ran to the store to buy some potatoes, choosing carefully, (this bowl of chips started out as just one big beautiful perfect russet )

 

Sweet potatoes are next ! Going to try parchment paper (for those who can't DIY a plate) and experiment with herbs. They crisp up in five minutes, so you can easily make more than enough for 2 people in 10 mins, and it's easy & fun.

 

Ingredients :

1 potato

pinch of fine sea salt
