The look was to be low and wide, so that we could capture all the fun BUT have it also set beneath the ever-present skyline or recognizable Charlotte landmarks. I thought using a strobe with the backlit subject added to the youth and attitude. It also helped me keep the subject sharp as she walked towards me swinging her hair, arms and legs.
