Dunnock

I created a shelter from the worst of the snow and placed under it a mixture of seeds, meal worms and crushed peanuts. One of our local Dunnocks was first to exploit the opportunity. Soon, however, the Robins, Sparrows, Blackbirds and Song Thrushes joined in. Even the Wood Pigeons and Collared Doves squeezed under to get at what was on offer.
