'83 Honda Shadow 750 BARE
Testing out my new motorcycle setup on my stripped down honda shadow. The trick to lighting motorcycles is getting a large softbox directly over head, so I used 3 super clamps and 15 feet of 3/4 thick black pipe between two regular alien bees stands to accomplish this. The black pipe is in 3 five foot sections joined together by threaded sleeves and held to the stands at each end by super clamps. The strobe+softbox is mounted to the middle section using a super clamp. You can see a picture of the setup for this shot below.
That's 1 B800 in a 32x40" softbox directly above, 1 B800 in a 30x60" softbox camera right, and 1 B1600 in a socked 22" beauty dish on the ground to the left. Ooooo and that's my brand new rocketfish carbon fiber trip right there in the middle! I hardly EVER use a tripod, but I'm hoping this little guy changes that.
