Holy Scripture ceremony

There is a veritable riot to see the Holy Scriptures pass on their sedan-like golden chair. Every night the books are removed from the temple for "sleep", said the young Indian man who explained it to us.

 

After this the 6 of us were mobbed by chatty Indians for an hour or so!
