After the Storm

I know the colors look a little strange in this photo, but that's exactly what it looked like as we walked onto the beach. The storm had just passed over and the sun was trying to come out from behind the clouds. The whole beach town had a strange yellow-y haze to it, because of the clouds. It was pretty neat, but I was happy to see the sun finally make his full appearance a little later!
Ocean City, NJ
We were visiting Ocean City, NJ when a big thunderstorm hit, which left us stuck inside.
As soon as the rain subsided and the sun started to come out my son was ready for the beach! He just wanted to walk along in the sand. So with his cap gun & water bottle in tow we ventured off to the sandy beaches of Ocean City, New Jersey, with the dark clouds far in the distance - over the sea.
What a beautiful day it was.
We needed some type of miracle cold front, to relieve us of that nasty heat wave we'd been stuck in for so long!
