Paper and ...... !
For 'Macro Mondays' Theme of 'Low Key'
Illuminated only by a neon hand held torch in an otherwise pitch black room - had to be taken late evening for that!
The local second hand bookseller had a copy of the Rough Guides, 'Making the Most of Your Time on Earth', in a box destined for land fill - the copy was mine for free! I wanted it as a source of coloured paper and pictures. So using a single page from the book, some cutting with a sharp knife, and some folding I made the skeletal paper shape you can see. A piece of discarded mirror from a vanity box and a very rough Chinese marble then complete the picture - using the torch of course.
Not quite all the story because this is a first picture from an old Russian lens sold to me as 'for parts or not working' that I bought for very little on eBay. Its certainly very battered, the focus is a bit stiff, and the lense is delaminating. However if it can produce pictures of this quality I think I'm going to be very pleased.
