Siblings

These are my two big boys. As you can see, they are related. On the right is the older one. On the left is the youngest one. I have had the older one for two years now and I intend to keep it as a spare. I am very happy with the new one. I am just starting to discover its possibilities. I also got it on ebay, but new this time. The new one is even faster, more sensitive and has a lot of nice features that I still need to discover.

Holding them are my nephews, my favorite low cost models. It was the end of Nathan's (right) birthday. He and Gabriel were a bit tired. Nathan said later: "Uncle Jerome, all you ever want to do is take photos". Having me as an uncle can be tough. :-)

Lighting assistant for this shot was Ana.

=============

Taken with my lightweight wireless strobist gear (more on this later):

I used a single 550EX with bouncer cap held by assistant on the right. The 550EX was IR-triggered by an ST-E2 unit mounted on the hotshoe of the Ricoh Caplio GX100. For external flash to work, 1/125 is the shortest exposure time:

Exposure time: 1/125

F-stop: 2.9

ISO speed: 80

550EX was set manually, but I don't remember the setting, unfortunately.
