Jeremy Lusk
The Prominent Korean
This is my friend Jason, the man who tried to Save Polaroid. Yesterday he got a call from a pretty large Korean magazine over here saying they want to feature him in some kind of Who's Who publication for Korean businesses. Trouble is, like most people I know, he doesn't have a bio photo. jerinthebox to the rescue.
I'm pretty happy with the way this turned out. It is, if I may say so, highly corporate, which is not something I've ever really gone for. Yet it's still very jerinthebox, what with all the purty lights.
Since I didn't know how they'd present it I wanted to make sure it would work as both a landscape or portrait crop, and this does.
Strobist: Very basic, 430EXII at 1/16th through 43" umbrella camera left, triggered by PWs. A rim light on his back would have been lovely, but my other flash mysteriously had no batteries in. Coincidentally, my roommate purchased another Wii controller yesterday...
