Pop It!
I had my second round of engagement photos with Parker and Lauren this weekend because the first was hindered by uncommonly ugly weather. This time the gods were kinder.
I know Flickr tends to be a petrii dish of self-portraits, and believe me I'm guilty of adding to the pool. But frankly there's no fucking money in that. It's hard getting out and shooting other people (well for a lot of us it is, myself included) but when you make other people look good with the work you do and they appreciate you for it, it really is rewarding.
Also, the 17-55 2.8 lens is the bee's frickin' knees, I think I'm gonna have to get one.
Strobist: It ain't much, but there's a 430EXII with a 43" reflector umbrella behind parker lighting his back and Lauren's face. I'm assuming it was on full power, and it brought them up enough to get some color out of the sky.
