Self Portrait in Macro

First in what will hopefully be a series of iris portraits. The variety of colors and textures in our eyes blows my mind.

Lens: Raynox DCR-250 mounted on my new Fuji XC-50-230mm (their cheapo zoom for the X-A1/X-M2, but the only problem is slow apterture which is irrelevant here). I think with the Raynox it's capable of more than 1:1 magnification for under $400. This is only at 100mm, at 230mm it's almost impossible to use.

Flash: YN 560III flashgun in hotshoe with 8" octobox (visible as reflection). I need to do more tests for best placement of the octobox as a reflection.

Lots of color/contrast/dodging of the iris only to make it stand out this way. My eyes are a bit flat by default :P
